Built 1733 as a private dwelling for the postillion, senator and later mayor Bauer. Used by the municipal administration since 1855. Banner with quotation from the town's 'Richtungsbrief' (1387) which incorporated the guilds in the town regiment. On one of his journeys to Nuremberg, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe dined at the 'Drei Mohren' opposite in 1797.
