Arts & Crafts have a long tradition in Dinkelsbühl. Back in the summer of 1889 a group of young painters from Munich were among the first to discover the romantic streets and alleyways of the idyllic town as subjects for their works. Over the years the painters were joined by sculptors and a lively handicrafts community, including woodcarvers and potters developped.
Art courses are still offered by the “Weisses Roß” (White Horse) Malerheim „Weisses Ross“, Steingasse 12/17, D-91550 Dinkelsbühl Tel.: +49 9851/57989-0 hotel-weisses-ross@t-online.de www.flairhotel.com/weissesross
