Shopping

Arts & crafts, souvenirs, trendy cloths or feather pillows nearly everything can be found in the little shops within the town centre. Follow the “Arts & Crafts Tour” which will show you the way to some of Dinkelsbühls exceptional shopping places.

Arts & Crafts have a long tradition in Dinkelsbühl. Back in the summer of 1889 a group of young painters from Munich were among the first to discover the romantic streets and alleyways of the idyllic town as subjects for their works. Over the years the painters were joined by sculptors and a lively handicrafts community, including woodcarvers and potters developped.

Art courses are still offered by the “Weisses Roß” (White Horse)
