In addition to the general suitability for school classes, and youth groups of all ages, the beautiful building of the youth hostel is especially recommended to families and musical groups.
The youth hostel is situated in the middle of the historical town and was originally one of the four large medieval storage buildings for grain. This building has been utilized as youth hostel since 1953. It's impressive half-timber styled gables have since proffered an inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
Provisions:
Total of 148 beds in rooms holding either 4-, 6- or 8 beds, a double room for escorts with separate shower and toilet. Dining hall capacitates 150 persons, there are two recreation rooms holding between 30 and 50 persons. Colour television, video recorder, chalk board and a long distance pay phone
Leisure activities:
Table tennis, billard tables, soccer table game, jukebox and piano.
The youth hostel is closed from the 31st of October to the 20th of March.
